Biography
Eric Fertman (born 1974 in Boston Massachusetts) is an American artist living and working in Brooklyn, NY. He received his Bachelors in Fine Arts from The Cooper Union School of Art and Science in 1997. Fertman’s work is primarily based in sculpture but also exists as works on paper and installation. His artwork has exhibited nationally, most recently with solo shows at Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art (SECCA) in Winston-Salem, NC; The Kemper Museum in Kansas City, Missouri and in a two-person presentation at Time Equities, Inc., NYC for The Art-in-Buildings Program. Reviews of his work have appeared in Artforum, The New York Times and Sculpture Magazine among others.
