Biography
Eric Daimler is an American computer scientist based in San Francisco. Eric served the Obama Administration as a Presidential Innovation Fellow within the Office of Science and Technology Policy ("OSTP") workflow for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in the Federal Government.
Education
Daimler studied Systems Analysis at the University of Washington and Financial Statistics at Stanford. Daimler obtained a B.S., M.S., anda PhD from the School of Computer Science ("SCS") at Carnegie Mellon University. He later he became a faculty of Software Engineering Practice in SCS of Carnegie Mellon.
Career
Federal Government
In 2016, Daimler was selected as a Presidential Innovation Fellow (PIF). Daimler developed the workflow for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence for the Federal Government. Daimler has formed and established theWhite House Future of Artificial Intelligence Initiative and a White House report on AI-Based Automation and the Economy.Which enabled widespread operations of civil and commercial drones stakeholder community.
Prior to joining the federal government, Daimler worked as a Venture Capitalist with Robotics Hub.. Daimler also worked at Merrill Lynch in London and Morgan Stanley.
