Enn Veerte oli esimene eestlane Lenini mäetipus
Ta võttis osa 1964. aastal Kesk-Aasia sõjaväeringkonna ekspeditsioonist Pamiiris ja tõusis selle käigus Nõukogude Liidu kõrguselt kolmanda mäe Lenini mäe tippu (7134 m).
