WEISSMANN Endre [vajsman] estas rumania hungara fakverkisto pri matematiko-fiziko, redaktoro. Li naskiĝis en Satmaro la 30-an de septembro 1923.
Biografio
Endre Weissmann faris laborservon en 1944, poste oni deportis lin en koncentrejon de Mauthausen. Li akiris diplomon pri fiziko-matematiko en Universitato Bolyai de Kluĵo (1949). Li doktoriĝis en 1958. Inter 1949–59 li instruis en la sama universitato, poste ĝis 1971 en UBB. Li estis ano de redakcio de revuo Korunk (1957–71). Kiam li anoncis sian intencon farlasi Rumanion, oni maldungis lin en 1972. De 1974 li estis universitata profesoro en New York City University.
