Biography
Elminhao Kilong (23 December 1995) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a central forward for Guwahati F.C. of the I-League 2nd Division.[2]
Career
Early career
Born in the small village of Luwangsangol, in the Kangpokpi District of Manipur. He completed his intermediate from Johnstone Higher Secondary School, Imphal. Kilong started playing football for his school teams and local clubs like DMRAO Sekmai, FC Khanglai, J. Songtun Youth FC, Katomei Football Club. After impressing during the State Championship. He got caught eye of other clubs from Shillong like Royal Wahingdoh FC, Rangdaijed United FC. He joined the junior team of Rangdajied United FC. Soon after he joined the Mohun Bagan Sail Football Academy in 2011.
Mohun Bagan Sail Football Academy
During 2012-13, he was selected to join Mohun Bagan Sail Football Academy based at Durgapur, Kolkata. He had a short stint at the academy as he was selected to join the DSK Liverpool International Football Academy, Pune.
DSK Liverpool International Football Academy
After his stint with the Mohun Bagan Football Academy, He joined the DSK Liverpool International Football Academy based at Pune. He joined the academy which was led by Ray Curtis and Michael Rice as their coaches. Thereafter, he soon got selected to play for the U-19 DSK Shivajians team. He played alongside NorthEast United FC players Jerry Mawihmingthanga, Lallianzuala Chhangte. He also played together with Rohit Kumar and Bhutan professional football player Tenzing Shezang as teammates for the DSK Shivajians B side team and for the Academy.
I-League 2nd Division
After he was released from DSK Shivajians, He joined Guwahati FC which participated in the revamped Assam State Premier League. On 1 October 2015, it was confirmed that Guwahati FC would participate in the I-League 2nd Division. He played under Anxo Valcarcel, the UEFA A Licensed Spanish Coach who previously managed clubs like RC Deportivo De La Coruna and Real Club Celta De Vigo. Oluwawunmi Somide Adelaja, Snehashish Dutta, Durga Boro were his teammates at Guwahati FC when they played for the I-League 2nd Division. Their home matches were played at Nehru Stadium and North East Frontier Railway Stadium.
Minerva Punjab FC

Kilong played for Minerva Punjab FC during a loan spell of the 2015-16 season where the club finished as Runners up of the I-League 2nd Division. Soon after, the club got promoted to play in the I-League.
Shillong Premier League
Langsning FC
In 2016, it was announced that Elminhao Kilong would sign on loan for the Shillong Premier League side Langsning FC. He showed a very impressive spell during the season scoring some impressive goals for the side during the Shillong Premier League. He played alongside Marlangki Suting NEUFC player and Daniel Bedemi as teammates.
Classic Cup (Kuki United FC)
During the winter of 2016, he was loaned to Kuki United FC where the team participated in the 22nd Classic Cup and emerged as the Runners Up. He netted numerous goals for the club during the tournament.Thereafter, he was awarded the Player of the Tournament where he received a cheque for ₹10,000, trophy and citation.
