Biography
Eamonn Feichin O'Doherty (February 10, 1918 - September 9, 1998), best known as E. F. O'Doherty, was an Irish experimental psychologist and Catholic priest.
O'Doherty was born in Dublin. He obtained his Ph.D. in experimental psychology from University of Cambridge with Frederic Bartlett. He was Professor of Logic and Psychology in University College Dublin. He was a member of the Royal Irish Academy. In 1958, he established the UCD Diploma in Psychology.
