Dudley Saltonstall

Dudley Saltonstall was an American sailor, businessman, and politician, born on September 20, 1738, and died on October 17, 1796. He had a prominent role in the Revolutionary War and served as a delegate to the Continental Congress.

During the Revolutionary War, Dudley Saltonstall served as a captain in the Continental Army. He commanded the ship Warren and was involved in several important battles, including the capture of British supply ships in the Hudson River.

Dudley Saltonstall served as a delegate to the Continental Congress in 1781 and 1782. He was also a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives and served as a judge in the Essex County Court of Common Pleas.
