Biography
Dr. Emefa Aku Ansah is a Project and Applied Management specialist with considerable teaching, research and consulting experience in, Human Resource Management, General Management, Project Management, Teacher education, Community Development, and Education-Focused Communications. She is currently an Adjunct Lecturer of Management at the School of Public Service and Governance, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration [GIMPA].
In 2009, she founded the Ghanaian non-profit organization CEINODE Ghana, which today serves young girls in schools, communities and annually connects girls of all levels and ages through advocacy day celebrations like Stand Up for Girls. She has over the years teamed with global non-profits like LitWorld and Global G.L.O.W to accelerate girls’ progress on targeted outcomes using the Herstory Theory of Change.
She has since gained expertise in program administration and project management, sustainable and social development, community engagement, research, resource mobilization, public education and social responsibility, creating and managing strategic partnerships. She is a gender champion and has integrated gender into education and health programs and provided support in gender analysis and gender sensitization training for a range of funders and partners. She is an astonishing advocate for Girls’ education and a mentor to girls and women in Ghana.
She is the author of The Girls’ Guide to Self-Dicovery and winner of The UNESCO King Hammad Bin Isa-Al Khalifa ICT Awards for the Global Teenager Project Ghana in 2008 under the ministry of Education.
