Biography
Donald Rosenfeld is a film producer who used to be the President of Merchant Ivory Productions.
Life and work
From 1987 to 1998, he ran Merchant Ivory Productions, working for films including Slaves of New York to Surviving Picasso.
He has also independently produced films, including Catwalk starring Christy Turlington, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, and Chris Munch's Color of a Brisk and Leaping Day, which won the cinematography prize at the 1996 Sundance Film Festival.
Rosenfeld has recently formed his own production company and is currently working on several film projects, such as Andy Warhol: A Documentary Film directed by Ric Burns, Victor written by Emma Thompson, The Confidence Man; City Poet and Eugene O'Neill
Currently, he owns Spike Gallery. He is a collector of contemporary art (primarily painting and photography) and resides in New York City.
