Biography
Donald Favareau
Donald Francis Favareau (sündinud 22. juunil 1957) on ameerika biosemiootik.
Ta on õppinud lingvistikat ja filosoofiat, ning kaitsnud doktoritöö rakenduslingvistikas teemal "Synthesis of biosemiotics and interaction analysis for the investigation of experience as a natural category" 2004. aastal. Töö juhendajad olid John Schumann (rakenduslingvistika), Marco Iacoboni (neuroteadused) ja Charles Goodwin (afaasia spetsialist).
Ta töötab Singapuri Ülikoolis.
Ta on mitmel korral (sealhulgas 2006. aastal) esinenud Tartu Ülikooli semiootika osakonnas loengutega.
