Biography
Desiree Cheng (born September 28, 1996) is a Filipino volleyball athlete. She played with De La Salle University collegiate women's varsity volleyball team.
Personal life
Career
In an exhibition game in Ozamis City during the UAAP Season 78, Cheng tore the ACL of her left knee that keep her out of the season. Before the UAAP Season 79 started, according to Coach Ramil De Jesus, Cheng is a bit shaky at first and keeps improving at times goes by. De jesus even challenge Cheng that her moves should not be like that and De Jesus said that before season 79 starts, she should be a more aggresive and different Cheng from the previous season prior to her injury.
Desiree Cheng won the UAAP Season 79 Finals MVP after DLSU Lady Spikers defeated the Ateneo Lady Eagles in the finals.
