Biography

David Struch (born February 11, 1971 in Flin Flon, Manitoba) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player and assistant coach and assistant GM of the Regina Pats of the Western Hockey League. He played four National Hockey League games for the Calgary Flames in the 1993–94 season. Struch was a ninth round pick of the Flames, 195th overall at the 1991 NHL Entry Draft.
After spending four seasons in the Flames system, Struch went on to play in Austria, Italy, England and Germany before finishing his career in the United Hockey League in 2004–05.
Struch became an assistant coach with the Saskatoon Blades in 2006. In 2013, he replaced Lorne Molleken as the Blades' head coach.
Following his time in Saskatoon, Struch became an assistant coach with the Regina Pats in 2014. On May 28, 2015 he added the roll of assistant GM to his duties.
