Biography

David Matheson (Reserva Coeur d'Alene, 1951) és un polític i escriptor amerindi, cap del Consell Tribal dels Coeur d'Alene i parlant de llengua salish. També és graduat en administració d'empreses a la Universitat de Washington, però ha estudiat les tradicions de la tribu. Ha escrit, entre altres llibres Red thunder (2001).
