Biography
David Hugh de Lautour (born 28 November 1982) is a New Zealand television actor and musician. He was born in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand and attended King's College, then The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) to which he received a $50,000 scholarship.
Career
He has appeared in the television shows Being Eve, in which he played Adam Le Beau, What I Like About You in which he played Ben Sheffield, Xena: Warrior Princess as an angel and another character named Icus and Power Rangers Jungle Fury as RJ/Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger.
David started the production company Tool Shed Productions in 2006 which has produced a number of films, stage plays and his band, Four Tribe Native.
He played Michael Cypher in Legend of the Seeker, the syndicated television adaptation of Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth.
In 2010, he appeared on NCIS.
He also does the voice and motion capture for Vergil in the 2013 video game DmC: Devil May Cry.
In 2014, David attended Power Morphicon 4, 22–24 August 2014 in Pasadena, California.
In 2015 he played the leading character Ted West in Westside a prequel television series to Outrageous Fortune.
Wentworth Season 7 has begun screening in both Australia and New Zealand starring David as Forensic Psychiatrist “Greg Miller” working within Wentworth Correctional Centre with prisoners to stop them reoffending and working alongside other correctional staff.
