Biography
David Becher (19. února 1725 - 1792), tzv. Hippokrates Karlových Varů byl lékař a balneolog.
Život
Jeho otcem byl Georg Leopold Becher (nar. 17.12.1682) a bratrem Johann Wenzel Becher, který byl otcem Josefa Vita Bechera, zakladatele výroby likérů Jan Becher – Karlovarská Becherovka. Roku 1746 odešel David Becher studovat do Prahy. Roku 1758 se stal lázeňským lékařem.
