Biography
Darko Gasic (born 20 July 1985), was appointed Vision F.C.'s director of football at Radnik Surdulica in December 2010 and Ghana football's first ever foreign Director of Football. In April 2016, Serbian media noted that he is the fourth youngest sporting director throughout the highest leagues in Europe.On his promotion, he put in place strategies for the next 10 years to develop the club to international standard. At that moment, youth system has never exist before and club has been playing 5th level. Under his mandate, Vision F.C. ascended from the 5th to the 2nd division, had three international coaches from Serbia and youth system, and become one of the best teams in Ghana football. Through Gasic's position of director of football, Vision F.C. has been able to transfer 7 players to Europe and 8 players played for the national team (5 of them U-17 and 3 of them U-20)
Radnik Surdulica
In June 2015, he joined Radnik Surdulica who he appointed as director of football in October 2015. After mutual terminate with Mladen Milinković after only eight league games and the last position on the table, he hired Miloš Veselinović as head coach. In his first season at the club, Radnik Surdulica qualify for play-off of Serbian SuperLiga as 8th on table and become the biggest surprise in Serbian SuperLiga that season.
Young players and coaches
Through his time at Vision F.C., he discovered Samuel Owusu and Francis Kyeremeh. In his mandate in Radnik Surdulica, he give chance to young Miloš Veselinović as head coach who has never worked in premier league before in moment when club have only 6 points from 8 games.
