Released in 2007, Ganek's debut novel, Lulu Meets God and Doubts Him explores the Manhattan art scene.

Art
Danielle and her husband, David Ganek, are well-known contemporary art collectors and patrons, with works by Richard Prince, Diane Arbus, Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman, Ed Ruscha, John Currin and Mike Kelley.
Philanthropy
Danielle Ganek serves: on the Women's Board of the Boys' Club of New York; as a Vice President of Southampton Fresh Air Home, a camp for underprivileged disabled children in Long Island; and as Director of the Ganek Family Foundation.
She has been involved with the New York Public Library; New York Presbyterian Hospital; American Ballet Theatre; the Robin Hood Foundation; and New York Hospital.
In 2014, the Ganeks gave a $2 million gift to U.S. Squash.
Family
Danielle Ganek has been married to David Ganek since 1990. They have three children: Harrison, Nicholas and Zoe.
