Biography
Daniel Ziblatt is the Eaton Professor of the Science of Government at Harvard University. His academic focus is on politics and political history of western Europe since the 19th century. Upon observing the outcome of the 2016 United States presidential election and the events in the twenty years leading up to it, he and department colleage, Steven Levitsky co-authored a book in 2018 to apply their understanding of political history in other countries to the situation in the United States. They have also co-authored numerous opinion articles in the New York Times.
