Constance "Connie" M. Burge (born 6 August 1957) is an American producer and screenwriter. She is the creator of the Charmed television series and short-lived Savannah series. She was also a writer for Judging Amy, Ally McBeal and Boston Public, and has produced several other shows.
Burge was born on August 6, 1957, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Her first work as a writer was on a 1995 episode of the television series Medicine Ball. Her production debut came around the same time with the television series Savannah.
Over the years, she written for, and produced in various capacities, such well-run television shows as Charmed (1998-2000), Ally McBeal (2001-2002), Boston Public (2003), Judging Amy (2004-2005), and Royal Pains (2009-2016). In 2000, she left her executive producer position on Charmed because of disagreements with fellow executive producer Brad Kern, although she stayed as an executive consultant until season 4 when she left to produce other shows.
She recently worked as a consulting producer and writer for the USA Network series Royal Pains, The Fosters (2016–2017) and Instinct (2018-2019).
