Biography

Charles "Chub" Reynolds was an American football and baseball coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Reynolds was an assistant college football and head baseball coach for the Northwestern (MN) Eagles located in Roseville, Minnesota. He took the positions in 1980 and was later given the job as head football coach.

Reynolds served as the head football coach for just under two seasons—the 1989 season and the 1990 season until his death, just two days after coaching his last game. His coaching record at Northwestern (MN) was 10 wins and 8 losses. As of the conclusion of the 2012 season, this ranks him #4 at Northwestern (MN) in total wins and #3 at the school in winning percentage (.556).

The school named the football stadium Reynolds Field in his honor in 1990.
