Γεννήθηκε στο Μεγαλοχώρι Τρικάλων και ήταν δάσκαλος.
Εξελέγη βουλευτής Τρικάλων στις εκλογές του Αυγούστου 1910 και επανεξελέγη βουλευτής Τρικάλων σε αυτές του Νοεμβρίου 1910, του 1912, του Δεκεμβρίου 1915 και του 1920.
