Christopher Convery (born 1 January 2008) is an American child actor known for his roles in Gotham (2017-2018) and Brahms: The Boy II (2020). He is based in New York City.
Early life
Christopher Convery was born on 1 January 2008. He excels academically and skipped a grade, even though he was asked to skip 2 grades. He chose to skip 1 so he could be closer in age with his friends.
He attends the Professional Performing Arts School in New York, which noted actors and musicians Claire Danes, Alicia Keys, Sarah Hyland, Jesse Eisenberg, and Britney Spears attended. He was also trained in acting at Camp Broadway at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas.
Career
Convery made his professional acting debut at the age of seven, playing the character of "Young Charlie" in Harvey Fierstein's broadway musical Kinky Boots (directed by Jerry Mitchell).
In 2017, he was seen in the role of "Keaton Lang" in the episode "Hostages" of TV series The Blacklist: Redemption. In the same year, he landed a recurring role in FOX's EMMY award-winning TV series Gotham. He portrayed the character of "Martin", partner of Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin (played by Robin Lord Taylor).
In July 2019, Convery was seen in "Chapter Six: E Pluribus Unum" episode of Stranger Things. He played the younger version of Billy (played by Dacre Montgomery).
In 2020, Convery was seen playing one of the primary characters, Jude, in the horror/thriller Brahms: The Boy II, opposite Katie Holmes, Ralph Ineson, and Owain Yeoman. Most recently, in February 2020, he starred as "Asher Reinman" in the episode "Kid + Plane + Cable + Truck" of TV series MacGyver.
