Biography
Charles Redfearn "Charlie" Freeman (22 August 1887 – 17 March 1956) was an English professional footballer. His clubs included Chelsea and Gillingham. He also served Chelsea as trainer and groundsman.
Freeman was born at Overseal, Derbyshire. He also played one first-class cricket match for Derbyshire against Northamptonshire in July 1911 in which he made 3 and 4 runs. Freeman was a right-hand batsman
Freeman died at Fulham, London at the age of 78.
