Biography
Charlie Cox (19 February 1926 – 15 December 2008) was a Scottish footballer. He played for Heart of Midlothian and Motherwell.
Some reference books list Cox as having played once for Scotland, in a 3–0 defeat by France in 1948, but he never played international football - the player who did take part, Sammy Cox, was a distant relative.
His uncle John Blair was also a footballer, and also won silverware with Motherwell.
