Biography

Charles Delaney (August 9, 1892 – August 31, 1959) was an American actor. Delaney was born in New York City in 1892. He was originally a motor mechanic and having learned to fly during World War I, he started doing flying vaudeville acts on his return to civilian life before beginning to appear in films. He appeared in 94 films between 1913 and 1959. Delaney died in Hollywood in 1959. His final screen appearance was a supporting role in the independently produced low-budget feature The Beatniks which was released posthumously in 1960.
