Chad Heywood

Chad Heywood is the Executive Director of the Arizona Republican Party, and has been since January 2013. During his tenure the Republican Party in Arizona has won every statewide office, won back Arizona's Republican majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, strengthened its relationship with Arizona's diverse ethnic communities, led the nation in the use of data and technology, and doubled its previous fundraising numbers. Heywood was even nominated by the Arizona Capitol Times as the "Top Political Operative" in 2014 and 2015.

Heywood began his career in politics in 2007 as a Congressional staffer and Director of Outreach for Arizona Representative Jeff Flake (now, a U.S. Senator). After leaving Representative Flake's office, Heywood worked for a political consulting firm, DC London Inc., from 2011 to 2013. During his time at DC London Inc., from 2011 to 2012, Heywood became the campaign manager for the Speaker of the Arizona House of Representatives, Kirk Adams, who was running for Congress.

Following his role on the Adams campaign, Heywood was hired by the Chairman of the Arizona Republican Party, Robert Graham, to be the Party's Executive Director.

Heywood has managed and consulted on numerous federal, state, local, and issue campaigns, as well as serving as an elected grassroots chairman in the Republican Party. His campaign experience includes Arizona leaders such as Mesa Mayor's Scott Smith, John Giles, Gilbert Mayor John Lewis, Senator Jeff Flake, and Speaker Kirk Adams.
