Biography
Cathy Plasman (Geel, 31 oktober 1964) was een Belgisch volksvertegenwoordiger.
Levensloop
Na werkzaam geweest te zijn bij het BMM, de Vlaamse Milieumaatschappij en het Vlaams Instituut voor Landbouw- en Visserijonderzoek, werd Plasman achtereenvolgens kabinetsadviseur bij ministers Olivier Deleuze (2000-2003), Johan Vande Lanotte (2003-2005) en Renaat Landuyt (2005-2007).
Voor de sp.a is Plasman sinds januari 2007 gemeenteraadslid van Gent en was er tot in augustus 2009 tevens fractieleider in de gemeenteraad. In juli 2009 volgde ze eveneens Freya Van den Bossche op in de Kamer van Volksvertegenwoordigers en bleef er zetelen tot aan de verkiezingen van 2010.
