Austin Adams
Austin Lance Adams (born May 5, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Washington Nationals organization.
Adams attended Zephyrhills High School in Zephyrhills, Florida and played college baseball at the University of South Florida. He was selected by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the eighth round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft. The Angels added him to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season.
On December 10, 2016, Adams and Kyle McGowin were traded to the Washington Nationals for infielder Danny Espinosa.

Nick Banks
Nicholas Matthew Banks (born November 18, 1994) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Washington Nationals organization
Banks formerly lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, but moved to Tomball, Texas when he was eleven, and graduated from Tomball High School in 2013.
Banks played college baseball for the Texas A&M Aggies. He was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 4th round of the 2016 MLB draft. He signed and began his professional career with the Auburn Doubledays of the Class A-Short Season New York-Penn League. Banks finished the 2016 with a .277 batting average and a .631 OPS.

Robert Benincasa
Robert Benincasa (born September 5, 1990) is an American baseball pitcher currently in the Washington Nationals organization. He is presently with the Potomac Nationals.
Benincasa was born in Tampa, Florida and attended Armwood High School in Seffner, Florida. He was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 33rd round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft that year, but did not sign a contract. He then attended Florida State University from 2010 to 2012. His first year there, he was 2-0 with a 5.32 ERA in 22 innings. He also pitched for the Mat-Su Miners of the Alaska Baseball League that year, posting a 4.91 ERA in 18.1 innings. In 2011, he was 2-2 with a 3.34 ERA in 32.1 innings (and he had a 5.65 mark in 11 games for the Cape Cod League's Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox) and in 2012, he was 4-2 with 16 saves, 58 strikeouts, seven walks and a 1.32 ERA in 41 innings. He was named an All-American by Baseball America and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association that year. The Nationals drafted him in the seventh round of the 2012 Major League Baseball Draft.
He pitched for the Auburn Doubledays his first professional season, going 2-0 with a 3.09 ERA in 16 games; in 23.1 innings, he had 32 strikeouts. John Sickels ranked him among the Nationals top prospects following the season. In 2013, he was 0-5 with 40 games finished, 27 saves and a 11.3 strikeouts per nine innings ratio in 45 games between the Hagerstown Suns and Potomac Nationals. He pitched for the Mesa Solar Sox of the Arizona Fall League after the regular season and had a 4.00 ERA in nine games. He was a South Atlantic League Mid-Season All-Star and a Carolina League Post-Season All-Star that year. Going into the next season, he was again named among the Nationals' top prospects. Between Potomac and the Harrisburg Senators in 2014, he had a 4.23 ERA and 18 saves in 46 games. He made only three appearances for Harrisburg in 2015, posting a 0.00 mark, and began 2016 with Potomac after starting the year on the disabled list.

Jimmy Cordero
Jimmy Gerard Cordero (born October 19, 1991) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Washington Nationals organization.
Cordero signed with the Toronto Blue Jays as an international free agent in January 2012. The Blue Jays traded Cordero along with Alberto Tirado to the Philadelphia Phillies for Ben Revere on July 31, 2015. The Phillies added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season.
On November 23, 2016, the Phillies traded Cordero to the Washington Nationals for minor league pitcher Mario Sanchez.

Carter Kieboom
Carter Alswinn Kieboom (born September 3, 1997) is an American baseball infielder in the Washington Nationals organization.
Kieboom attended George Walton Comprehensive High School and committed to attend Clemson University to play college baseball for the Clemson Tigers. He was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the first round of the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft. He announced he would be joining the organization on June 11, 2016. He spent his first professional season with the GCL Nationals where he batted .244 with four home runs and 25 RBI's.
His brother, Spencer Kieboom, also plays in the Nationals organization.

Nick Lee
Nicholas Lee (born January 13, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Washington Nationals organization.
Lee played college baseball at Weatherford College. He was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 38th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft but did not sign and returned to Weatherford. He was then drafted by the Nationals in the 18th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft and signed. The Nationals added him to their 40-man roster after the 2015 season but outrighted him from the roster in 2016.

José Marmolejos
José Ramon Marmolejos (born January 2, 1993) is a Dominican professional baseball first baseman in the Washington Nationals organization.
Marmolejos signed with the Washington Nationals as an international free agent in June 2011. The Nationals added him to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season. On February 24, 2017, Marmolejos was placed on the 60-day disabled list with a left forearm strain.

Greg Ross
Gregory William Ross (born September 6, 1989) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Washington Nationals organization. He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 18th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft.
A Towson, Maryland, native who pitched at Frostburg State University, Ross spent five seasons in the Braves organization, including two full seasons with the Class-AA Mississippi Braves. He was released after the 2015 season and became a free agent. He signed a minor league deal with his hometown team, the Baltimore Orioles, but was released after pitching just three innings in the Orioles' minor league spring training camp before the 2016 season. He was picked up on another minor league deal by the Nationals and pitched for the High-A Potomac Nationals and Class-AA Harrisburg Senators during the 2016 season, at one point tossing 30 straight scoreless innings from June 7 to June 29. He worked both as a starter and a reliever during the season, pitching to a 1.06 ERA over 85 innings between Potomac and Harrisburg. He traveled to South America during the off-season to play in the Venezuelan Winter League, pitching for the Tiburones de La Guaira.
A right-handed sinkerball pitcher, Ross relies more on weak contact and groundouts than strikeouts. He also throws a slider, curveball, and changeup that he mixes in as off-speed pitches.

Kyle Schepel
Kyle James Schepel (born August 7, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Washington Nationals organization.
Schepel was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He attended Grand Rapids Christian High School and then Grand Valley State University. During his freshman campaign at GVSU, he went 5-1 with a 2.15 ERA in 11 games. In his sophomore year, he was 6-2 with a 5.81 ERA in 15 games. In his junior season, he was 11-0 with a 2.57 ERA in 14 starts. In his senior season, he was 9-4 with a 2.75 ERA in 14 starts, striking out 94 batters in 78.2 innings. He went 31-7 overall and won the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Conference 'Pitcher of the Year Award' in 2011. He is also the university's career leader in victories, games started, strikeouts and innings pitched. He was a pre-season All-American in 2012.
He began his professional career in 2012 in the independent leagues. After going 4-7 with a 3.68 ERA for the Rockford RiverHawks that year, the Arizona Diamondbacks signed him to a contract. He was used as both a starting pitcher and relief pitcher during his two seasons in the Diamondbacks chain. He was 7-8 with a 5.40 ERA in 31 games for the Hillsboro Hops, South Bend Silver Hawks and Visalia Rawhide in 2013. On April 23, he threw a seven-inning no-hitter against the Lansing Lugnuts for his first professional win and on August 31, he tossed a nine-inning no-hitter against the Boise Hawks. He had also flirted with a no-hitter in 2012. He was 4-4 with a 3.84 ERA in 52 relief appearances for the Silver Hawks and Rawhide in 2014. In March 2015, he was released by the Diamondbacks and signed on with the independent Frontier Greys. After a handful of games there, he signed with the Seattle Mariners on June 3. He pitched for the Clinton LumberKings, Bakersfield Blaze and Triple A Tacoma Rainiers that year. He was 1-3 with a 2.93 ERA in 29 games that year. In 2016, he completed his best season to date, tallying a 4-3 record with a 2.09 ERA in 43 appearances, with 75 strikeouts and a .164 batting average against in 43 total appearances between High-A Bakersfield Blaze and Double-A Jackson Generals.
On November 7, 2016, Schepel elected free agency and he signed with the Washington Nationals on December 9, 2016. On January 4, 2017, he was assigned to the Double-A Harrisburg Senators.

Juan Soto
Juan José Soto Pacheco (born October 25, 1998) is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder in the Washington Nationals organization.
Soto signed with the Washington Nationals as an international free agent in July 2015. He made his professional debut in 2016 with the Gulf Coast Nationals and was named the MVP of the Gulf Coast League after hitting .368 with five home runs and 32 runs batted in (RBI). In September he was promoted to the Auburn Doubledays for the final few games of the season.
