Caren Bohan is a journalist and the White House correspondent for the Reuters news agency. Bohan was President of the White House Correspondents' Association for the July 2011 to July 12 term. She has covered the President of the United States since 2003 and was a lead correspondent for Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign.

Bohan was born in Boston, Massachusetts.
Education
She obtained her B.A. in English Literature from McGill University and later her master's degree in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley.
Career
Bohan began her career in journalism covering economic policy and financial markets for Reuters. She first worked in New York City and then in Washington. After working for Reuters for decades, Bohan decided to work for National Journal. While working for National Journal, she led the digital team's policy channel and eventually worked her way up to becoming the Managing Editor for Policy. However, only a year later, she returned to Reuters to work as a domestic policy correspondent. Back at Reuters, she is responsible for working with their domestic policy team to write about issues that involve the collaboration of the White House, Capitol Hill, and federal agencies.
