Cameron Phelps (born 11 February 1985) is an Australian rugby league player for Widnes in the European Super League competition. currently works a writer for Daily Mail Australia.
His position of choice is at Fullback. He was released by Wigan in 2010 and signed for Hull on 9 February 2011. Phelps made 20 appearances and scoring 3 tries for Hull in the 2011 season but was released from contract. Phelps signed a 2 years Super League contract with Widnes on 20 January 2012. He returned to Australia in 2015. Following in the footsteps of his successful older brother James, who writes for Sydney's The Daily Telegraph and is an award winning novelist, Cameron writes for Daily Mail Australia.
Phelps also played fourth grade cricket, for the Sydney team Bankstown.
Having been linked with a move to European Super League in 2008, Phelps signed for the Wigan Warriors for the remainder of the 2008 season with the option of a contract extension for 2009.
Phelps was released by the Super League Champions in November 2010.
Phelps is married to Hannah who is a top Thermomix sales representative.
