Brent Dragon (born 18 February 1966) is an American stock car driver. A member of a famous family in the Northeastern United States stock car universe for the past 40 years, he is the son of former racer Beaver Dragon, nephew of Bobby Dragon, and cousin of Scott Dragon.
Life and career
Brent Dragon was born on 18 February 1966, in Milton, Vermont.
He has been mostly active in the ACT Tour series since its founding in 1992. He was the series runner-up in 1993 and 2004. As of 12 March 2015, he has nine wins, 69 top 5s, and 139 top 10s in 220 starts.
In 2009, Dragon won the ACT Castrol Series at Circuit Riverside Speedway Ste-Croix, in Sainte-Croix, Quebec. The same year, he won the Showdown ACT at Autodrome Chaudière in Vallée-Jonction, Quebec. He came from the ninth starting position to lead the final 109 laps of the 200 lap event. The first 91 laps saw a battle between former Serie ACT Castrol champion Karl Allard and Scott Payea.
On September 16, 2012, he won the Vermont State Late Model Championship at West Haven, Vermont.
In 2014, Dragon focused mostly on the PASS North series, earning three top-10 finishes in seven starts.
