Brendon George Kofi Nana Osei Mainoo Daniels (born 24 September 1993) is an English footballer who plays for AFC Fylde as a winger.
Playing career
Crewe Alexandra
Born in Stoke-on-Trent, Daniels started his career with Crewe Alexandra, signing a scholarship in 2010. In May 2011, he signed his first professional contract, on a two-year deal. His professional debut came in August 2012, in a 5–0 win over Hartlepool United in the Football League Cup, replacing AJ Leitch-Smith as a substitute. On 1 May 2013, he was released by Crewe due to the expiry of his contract.
Chester
In January 2014, Daniels went on trial at Conference Premier side Gateshead and scored a hat trick for a Gateshead XI in a Durham Challenge Cup game against Darlington 1883.
He eventually re-signed for Chester on 25 February 2014, Daniels joined on a non-contract deal. He went on to make 3 league appearances, before been released at the end of the 2013–14 season.
Tamworth
On 2 August 2014, following a successful trial period, Brendon joined Conference North side Tamworth, and was joined on the same day by Donovan Simmonds and George Grayson.
AFC Fylde
On 25 May 2016, Daniels signed a three-year contract at National League North side AFC Fylde after a prolific 2015–16 campaign at league rivals Harrogate Town where he scored 22 goals. He became their second summer signing after defender Steve Williams from Barrow AFC.
