He shot to fame in October 2014 after a YouTube video that showed him dancing in the background of a NewsChannel 8 interview went viral -- the video received millions of views. In the video, Brendan was seen dancing to the moves of Lady Gaga from the Applause music video.
The video caught the attention of the media and was widely shared by thousands of people including Lady Gaga, RuPaul, and Pandora Boxx.

The same month, he was invited to The Queen Latifah Show where he got to meet one of his favorite stars, RuPaul.
A month later, he modeled for American Apparel. The brand contacted him for a photoshoot saying, "we like how your wear it," after they saw the viral video.
His fame continued to grow and he started posting videos on YouTube regularly. As of January 2017, his channel has over 266,000 followers with over 14 million views.
He is also active on Twitter with over 69K followers and on Instagram with over 550K followers.
In an interview with MTV in October 2015, he stated that he is gender-fluid.
