Borislav Mikić (Serbian Cyrillic: Борислав Микић, born 20 December 1975) is a Bosnian Serb footballer playing in First League of the Republika Srpska club FK Rudar Prijedor.
Career
Born in Prijedor, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia, he started his career in Serbia in FK Sartid (currently the club is called FK Smederevo ) in the season of 1995/96, but as he was still young, he went to a lower division clubs to gain experience, namely FK Železničar Smederevo and FK Železničar Lajkovac. in 1999 he was signed by the top league club Borac Čačak, but after one season, he was loaned to a club from the same city, FK Remont Čačak. In 2002 he was back to the top league, this time playing solidly for three and a half seasons in the Belgrade club FK Železnik, a club that in 2005 changed his name to FK Voždovac. In January 2006 he went for a brief half a season polemic spell in the Turkish top league club Diyarbakirspor, a club that had a case in the courts regarding an allegedly unpaid transfer fee for Mikić, which resulted in a 6 point deduction for the club in their league season 2005-06. After this, he was back to Voždovac where he played another half season, before, in January 2007, moving to another Serbian Superliga club FK Banat. In January 2008, he moved to the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina club FK Laktaši where his experience is giving him a very important role in the squad. Since summer 2010 he will join FK Borac Banja Luka and during the winter break of the 2011–12 winter break, he will move to his hometown club FK Rudar Prijedor.
