William "Bill" Horton (17 February 1905 — 19 January 1992 (aged 86)) born in Knottingley, was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s, and 1930s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, England and Yorkshire, and at club level for Wakefield Trinity (captain) (Heritage № 307), as a Second-row, or Loose forward/Lock, i.e. number 11 or 12, or 13, during the era of contested scrums.
