Bhau Sahib

Bhau Sahib, (born 1980,) also known as, Vithal Rao Parushuram, was the brother of Nana Sahib, the ninth ruler of the Maratha princely state Aundh during the British Raj.

Bhau Sahib was born in 1890 as Shrimant Vithal Rao Parushuram. He was educated at Rajkumar College, Rajkot and New English School, Poona.

Due to the allegations of extra-marital birth, Bhau Shahib was disinherited from succession by his grandfather and father, Anna Sahib and Dada Sahib, respectively. This cleared the way for his uncle Bala Sahib (Shrimant Bhavan Rao Shrinivas) to take the position of the tenth ruler of the state.
