Biography
Haji Bachtiar Djafar (lahir di Labuhan Deli, Sumatra Utara, 27 Juli 1939; umur 81 tahun) adalah wali kota Medan dari 1 April 1990 hinga tahun 2000.
Ia berasal dari partai Golkar. Dari pernikahannya dengan Rosmeini Bachtiar, ia mempunyai dua orang anak.
