Ο Αθανάσιος Οικονόμου ή Καραγκούνης ήταν Έλληνας πολιτικός.
Βιογραφικά στοιχεία
Γεννήθηκε στη Νίκαια Λάρισας. Υπήρξε δήμαρχος Αμπελακίων (1894).
Στις 21 Οκτωβρίου 1886, σε επαναληπτική εκλογή, εξελέγη βουλευτής Λάρισας.
