Aşkın Nur Yengi (born 3 July 1970 in Istanbul) is a Turkish singer and actress.
Life
The artist was born in Istanbul Erenkoy first school completed secondary education in the primary school to the Turkish Music State Conservatory started as a cello student, graduated after 11 years of learning.
Career
1981-1989: First years
In 1981, she started working as a vocalist of Sezen Aksu in the Onno Tunç orchestra. In 1987, along with Harun Kolçak she joined the Eurovision Song Contest Turkey Finals with the song "Güzel Şeyler Söyle" under the name of Grup Periyod . In the same year, she won the first prize in the international platforms with the songs "Yeniden" in the Altın Güvercin Song Festival in Kuşadası and "Portakal Çiçeği" in 1988 Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival and next year in the Çeşme Music Festival "No More Crying".
1990-1999: Nineties
With her debut album Sevgiliye in 1990 she became the first successful Turkish singer of the '90s. In the following years, she went on tour to many countries abroad to promote her albums. Malta and United Kingdom have recorded music clips for their songs on the album. In 2007, her compilation album Aşk'ın Şarkıları was published which consists of 13 songs from her albums Sevgiliye, Hesap Ver , Sıramı Bekliyorum and Kara Çiçeğim with new arrangements.
She has been involved in various projects as well as music albums, and has been performing many commercials since 1980's. In 1994 she animated her family Ataturk Fikriye Hanim in her television series Kurtuluş and interpreted her generic music. In 2001 she met with Levent Kırca and her athlete in the drama " Females". In the same year, Levent Kırca and his team took part in the comedy program Olacak O Kadar] and took on the musical director of the program. With actors such as Yengi, Zeki Alasya and Mehmet Ali Erbil who appeared in the series Cesur Kuşku and Bayanlar Baylar. She gave concerts with Rafet El Roman for a time.
Sezen Aksu's great support has been very successful. The song "Ayrılmam" was reinterpreted recently by Levent Yüksel and Cargo but neither of them achieved the success of the original recording. She became a jury in Turkey's first public game contest Altın Adımlar Halk Oyunları Yarışması, together with Müjde Ar, Ahmet Demirbağ and Yavuz Bingöl.

Personal life
Yengi married Haluk Bilginer in 2006 and they have a daughter. The couple divorced in 2012 after six years.
