Arturo Morua

Arturo Morua (born May 3, 1978 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico) is a Mexican professional boxer in the Welterweight division. Arturo is a former WBA Fedecentro, WBO Latino, and WBO Inter-Continental Light Welterweight Champion. Morua has fought numerous times on Telefutura and Telemundo.

On October 2001, Morua took on hard hitting, Cosme Rivera (21-6-2) and defeated him by UD12 to win the WBA Fedecentro Light Welterweight Title.

WBC Light Welterweight Championship

In his first title attempt Arturo would lose a tough fight to WBC Champion Junior Witter.

WBO Light Welterweight Championship

Arturo then lost a twelve round decision to WBO Champion Ricardo Torres.
