Biography
April D. DeConick is the Isla Carroll and Percy E. Turner Professor of Biblical Studies at Rice University, Texas and is a historian of early Jewish and Christian thought.
DeConick received her PhD in Near Eastern Studies at The University of Michigan in 1994. She is the author of several books on early Christian thought, and in particular the Gospel of Thomas.
