Angus Cloud

Conor Angus Cloud Hickey (July 10, 1998 – July 31, 2023) was an American actor best known for his portrayal of Fezco in the HBO television series Euphoria (2019–2022). He had small roles in the independent films North Hollywood (2021) and The Line (2023), and is set to posthumously star in the film Freaky Tales. Cloud also appeared in music videos by Noah Cyrus, Juice WRLD, Becky G, and Karol G.

Raised in the Bay Area, Cloud began his acting career with a breakthrough role in the HBO television series "Euphoria." He played the character “Fezco”, a drug dealer navigating the challenges of his environment and forming a complex bond with the show's protagonist.

Angus Cloud was born in Oakland, California, on July 10, 1998; however, the majority of his family resided in Ireland. Cloud was the eldest of his siblings; he had younger twin sisters, named Molly Hickey and Fiona Hickey. He attended the School of Production Design at Oakland School for the Arts, where he was a classmate of his Euphoria co-star Zendaya.

Cloud revealed in an interview with Variety in August 2022 that he suffered "minor brain damage" from a serious fall when he was a teenager. The injury resulted in a scar on the left side of his head.

Before his acting career took off, Cloud worked in retail and as a model. However, his talent and presence on screen soon caught the attention of audiences and critics alike. While working at Woodlands restaurant close to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, he was scouted by Euphoria casting director Jennifer Venditti, who he initially thought was trying to scam him. He portrayed Fezco in the series. Prior to his role on Euphoria, Cloud had never acted, only serving in his high school’s theater department building sets and working on lighting and sound. Cloud also played Walker in the comedy drama movie North Hollywood.

Cloud died on July 31, 2023, at his family's home in Oakland, California, at the age of 25. The Oakland Fire Department were summoned for a medical emergency, where they declared Cloud "already deceased" on arrival. Cloud had been mourning the loss of his father, whose funeral he attended in Ireland in the week prior to his own death.
