Biography
Angie Motshekga is a South African politician, appointed Minister of Basic Education in 2009.
She has been a lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand and at the Soweto College of Education. She has also been president of the African National Congress Women's League.
Education
She holds a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Educational Science from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits). She has also acquired a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of the North and a Higher Diploma in Education.
