Anastassia Khozissova (Russian: Анастасия Хозисова; born 15 April 1979) is a Russian model.
Early life
Khozissova started her fashion career in Milan, Italy. She entered the modeling world at the young age of 18 after finishing high school. Her debut happened at the Giorgio Armani runway show in Milan, Italy at the Fall 1999 Collection and was quickly followed by the cover of September Italian Vogue shot by Steven Meisel in 1999.
Career
During the course of her career, she has been on the covers of Vogue (Italia, French, Russia, Japan and German), W magazine, Harper's Bazaar, i-D, Elle (French and Italian), V magazine, and L'Officiel (French and Russian).
She has done countless shows for designers such as Chanel, Prada, Dior, Chado Ralph Rucci, Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Donna Karan, Balenciaga, Miu Miu, Donna Karan, Lagerfeld Gallery, Vivienne Westwood, Roberto Cavalli, Ferre, and Ralph Lauren. She has also been the face of Valentino, Chanel, Dior, Karl Lagerfeld, Vivienne Westwood, Ferre and Ralph Lauren.
In 2004, Ralph Lauren approached Khozissova to be one of their main models. She has cultivated a close relationship with the brand and has walked in every show since she started working with them. She has also appeared in numerous Ralph Lauren campaigns and editorial shoots. On October 14, 2010, Khozissova was invited to attend the Ralph Lauren Receives Key to the City of New York ceremony.
Given Khozissova’s success on the runway, she has been given the task to train younger girls to properly carry themselves on the runway. Her agency helped set up a school where Khozissova teaches new models and the classes that she teaches have been turned into a multi part on-line video for the website modelina.com called Maybelline Stiletto Boot Camp on Modelinia. The success of the Modelinia videos attracted the producers of CNN and Khozissova appeared in a segment about walking in heels with Alina Cho for American Morning on CNN.
