Amanda Anka (born 10 December 1968) is an American film and television actress.
Early life
Amanda Anka was born Amanda Katherine Anka on December 10, 1968, in New York City, New York, to Canadian-American singer Paul Anka and his wife Anne de Zogheb.
Career
Anka made her acting debut in 1991 with a minor role in the TV movie Frankenstein: The College Years. The following year, she was seen in director Fran Rubel Kuzui's comedy feature film Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In 1996, she was seen portraying the character of "Barbara" in three episodes of TV series Beverly Hills, 90210: Remember the Alamo, You Say It's Your Birthday: Part 1, and Ray of Hope.
Over the following years, she appeared in a wide range of TV series and films including Bob's Video (2000), ER (2004), The Batman (2007), Somewhere (2010), and Bad Words (2013). She was last seen on TV in 2014, in the episode "Girls Reunited" of the series The Fosters.
Personal life
Amanda Anka is married to actor Jason Bateman since July 3, 2001. The two were co-stars in Bad Words (2013). They dated for four years before getting married.
The couple has two daughters: Francesca Nora Bateman (born October 28, 2006) and Maple Sylvie Bateman (born February 10, 2012).
