Álvaro Gaona Vega (born June 15, 1985, in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico) is aMexican professional boxer in the Middleweight division and is the current WBC FECARBOX Middleweight Champion.
Pro career
On February 6, 2010, Gaona beat Gilberto Flores Hernandez by a 12-round unanimous decision, to win the WBC FECARBOX Middleweight Championship. The bout was held in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
