Biography
Alberto Zerain (born 20 August 1961) is a Spanish Basque mountaineer. He summited K2 on August 1, 2008, from Camp III and as a solo climber, only hours before the 2008 K2 disaster. He has climbed at least 7 eight-thousanders.

- Everest's North Face in 2000.
- Ama Dablam and Lhotse in 2001.

- K2 (both faces) in 2008.
