Biography
Albert Jamil Butros is a retired Jordanian Ambassador and eremited Dean (education) of the University of Jordan.

- From 1950 to 1955 he taught English language and Mathematics at Elementary and Secondary School in two Amman Private Schools.
- From 1955 to 1958 he got from the Jordan Ministry of Education a British Council Scholarship to England.
- From 1958 to 1960 he instructed English studies at the Teachers’ College, Amman.
- From 1960 to 1963 he got from the Jordan Ministry of Education a Smith–Mundt Act Scholarship in the United States:

- From 1971 to 1972 he was Visiting Professor of English at the Wesleyan University in Ohio.
