Biography
(Mirza) Ahmed Fayzi Pasha was born in Baghdad as the son of Mirza Bakir Shikoh, who belonged to the Timurid Dynasty. His mother was a Iraqi Turkmen. His grandfather Mirza Muhammad Zahiduddin moved from India to Ottoman Iraq and settled in Karbala together with his family. His Father Mirza Bakir Shikoh moved to Baghdad and died there in 1902. Ahmed Fayzi Pasha was the Governor of Ottoman Baghdad from 1902 to 1904. After 1904 he settled in Istanbul and married Habibe Khanum. His descendants live in Turkey and Germany.
