Agnes Ameede

Agnes Ameede (born 12 June 1970) is a Ugandan politician who represents the Pallisa district in parliament for the National Resistance Movement. She was elected as a member of parliament in the year 2016 and has served as member of parliament for the Pallisa district till date.

Agnes Ameede was born on 12 June 1970 to Mr. and Mrs. Gabriel Olaki as the fifth child among twelve children. She had her primary education in the Kabwangasi Primary School after which she moved on to do her ordinary and advanced level certificates at the St. Paul's College and Tororo Girls School respectively. From there, she enrolled in the Makerere University to study Bachelor of Arts in Art and graduated in the year 1994.  She got a master's degree in Management at the Uganda Management Institute in the year 2009 as well as a master's degree in Development Management at the UK Open University in the year 2014. Agnes Ameede was elected as a woman member of parliament for Pallisa in Uganda in the year 2016 where she has served till date. She is married to Mr. Omulen Lawrence with three daughters.
